To celebrate Wastewater Professionals Appreciation Day on Thursday, May 22, the District invites you to a coffee reception in our Shop One building.
Join staff from the District and the Wisconsin Wastewater Monitoring Program (WWMP), including representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene, to honor these critical professionals who play a vital role in protecting public health and the environment. Speakers will provide brief remarks, and the WWMP will share the Governor’s Proclamation and its annual impact report, which highlights WWMP’s work with utilities around the state to monitor wastewater for disease-causing pathogens.
When: Thursday, May 22, 2025, 9 a.m.; remarks begin at 9:15 a.m.
