Pumping Stations 6 and 8 Rehabilitation
Major components of the project include the following:
General Construction
- Construction of a 430 square foot addition to Pumping Station 6.
- Construction of a 250 square foot addition to Pumping Station 8.
- Site improvements consisting pavement, plantings and other work.
- Exterior improvements to Pumping Station 6.
Mechanical Construction
- Supply and installation of four new 125 HP pumping units, motors and
appurtenances at Pumping Station 6.
- Supply and installation of two rebuilt pumping units, two new 250 HP
motors and appurtenances at Pumping Station 8.
- Supply and installation of two rebuilt pumping units, two new 300 HP
motors and appurtenances at Pumping Station 8.
- Supply and installation of valves, piping and fittings at both stations
- Supply and installation of new heating, ventilating and cooling systems
Electrical Construction
- Supply and installation of electrical feed gear.
- Supply and installation of motor control centers.
- Supply and installation of electrical wiring.
- Supply and installation of station control center.
- Supply and installation of one variable frequency drive for 125 HP pump at Pumping Station 6.
- Supply and installation of three reduced voltage starters for 125 HP pumps at Pumping Station 6.
- Supply and installation of two 250 HP variable frequency drives at Pumping Station 8.
- Supply and installation of two 300 HP reduced voltage starters at Pumping Station 8.
