Northeast Interceptor PS10 to Lien Road Relief/Replacement
The project includes furnishing and constructing approximately 9,220 lineal feet of interceptor sanitary sewer ranging in size from 48‑inch diameter to 63‑inch diameter, including: one, 120‑inch diameter pre-cast manhole; twelve, 96‑inch diameter pre‑cast manholes; eleven, 84‑inch diameter pre‑cast manholes; one, 60‑inch diameter pre‑cast manhole; two, 48‑inch diameter pre‑cast manholes; three cast‑in‑place rectangular junction manholes; micro‑tunneling 545 lineal feet of minimum 54‑inch diameter interceptor sewer at two locations, and installation of 130 lineal feet of minimum 75‑inch diameter steel casing pipe by trenchless technology methods. Other work includes connection to Pump Station 10, connection to an existing live 48-inch diameter RCP sewer at four locations, connection to a live 27-inch diameter RCP sewer at one location, connection to a live 15‑inch diameter vitrified clay sewer at one location, connect to a live 12‑inch diameter sewer at one location, and connection to a live 8‑inch diameter sewer at three locations. Work also includes 14 lineal feet of 36‑inch diameter; 29 lineal feet of 30‑inch diameter sanitary sewer, 12 lineal feet of 12‑inch diameter sanitary sewer; 13 lineal feet of 8‑inch diameter sanitary sewer, 85 lineal feet of 6‑inch diameter sanitary sewer lateral at three locations, construction of concrete cap over 54‑inch diameter interceptor sanitary sewer; water main relocations; storm sewer support and/or removal and replacement; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; dewatering; asphalt and concrete pavement removal and replacement; concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk removal and replacement; erosion control; landscaping and site restoration; and all other appurtenant work. Work is located in the City of Madison and Town of Blooming Grove, Dane County, Wisconsin.
