SWI North & South Legs Liner
This project will include improvements to the Southwest Interceptor, which has suffered significant deterioration since it was installed in the mid-1950’s. Sections of the interceptor are plagued with root and grease problems, and other areas have loose gaskets and offset joints.
The Southwest Interceptor North & South Liner Project includes the installation of a cured-in-place-pipe inside the interceptor. Approximately 5500’ of 15” and 18” pipe will be lined on the North Leg, and 3800’ of 12” and 14” will be lined on the South Leg. Work also includes cleaning the interceptor and reinstating all lateral connections.
