Effluent Storage Tank Covers
The Effluent Storage Tank Cover project includes replacement of the existing floating geomembrane covers (installed in 1992), which have reached the end of their useful life. The covers have deteriorated significantly, leak badly, are prone to damage, and are difficult to repair.
This project replaces the two-130’ diameter floating covers with aluminum geodesic domes. No modifications are required to the existing 8.5’ deep reinforced concrete tanks.
