This photograph of
the Burke Plant was taken is spring of 1928,Plant was first placed in service in 1914 and
operated as a wastewater treatment plant until 1950. In 1950 it was rented
by Oscar Meyer and operated as a pretreatment till 1979. The plant was
then abandoned and property sold.
